CenterStaged.io builds classroom activities that students use during instruction. This page is a short summary that teachers can share with administrators and parents. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
What students enter
- Students join an activity with a code from their teacher. They do not create accounts or passwords.
- WordMint: students enter their first name and last initial so the teacher can see their results. WordMint stores their answers, progress, and scores.
- Other CenterStaged activities: they store the work students submit during the activity, such as written answers and scores.
What we never collect from students
- Full last name, email address, phone number, birthdate, home address, photos, audio, video, or location.
- A student login, or a profile that follows a student between classes.
Who can see it
- Only the student’s teacher can see student names and results.
- Other students cannot see real names.
How long we keep it
- WordMint deletes student names and results automatically 30 days after the game ends or its code expires.
- Teachers can delete them sooner at any time.
What we never do
- We never sell student information or work.
- We never share it with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.
- We never use it for advertising or to build student profiles.
- We never use student work to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- We never contact students.
Where it is stored
Both process data only on our behalf. Data is stored in the United States.
Deletion requests
Any teacher, school, or program can ask us to delete their records at any time. Email info@centerstaged.io, and we will delete them within 10 days and confirm when it is done.
Changes
We post changes here and update the date above. If a change affects what we collect, we email license holders before it takes effect.
